KMS-LAN-TI

The Smart Sensor KMS-LAN-TI is with integrated thermal imaging sensor for monitoring critical system conditions and for early fire detection.

In addition to pure thermal monitoring, it has onboard processing to react in real time. Compared to thermal imaging cameras, the sensor has the advantage that it works in compliance with data protection regulations and intelligently links several sensors for early fire detection.

For early fire detection, it provides a four-factor indication (thermal image, CO, air quality, room temperature) that is analyzed using machine learning for reliable detection.

The Smart Sensor monitors up to 20 threats and an area of up to approx. 430 sq feet or 40m² depending on the ceiling height. It is connected via Ethernet with PoE (Power over Ethernet Cat 5/Cat6) and requires no additional cabling. Operation is possible as a stand-alone sensor with integrated KentixONE software (HTTPS) or via a networked KentixONE system with SiteManager. The sensor is mounted on the ceiling using the mounting bracket supplied. Mounting in an IT rack or on the wall with the 19’ bracket (accessory) is also possible as an option.

Alternate E Source will provide from stock external PoE devices.

BLE This device is BLE which means it provides length of signal without extra power usage.

This device is capable of automation and can be equipped with relays for shut down/turn on functions

as well as door contact and other intelligent automation required.
